What is a Community Interest Company (CIC)?
A CIC is a special type of limited company which exists to benefit the community rather than private shareholders.
Why are we set up this way?
As a CIC we wish to engage with our community and attend various events.
If you would like to volunteer to help us increase awareness and raise funds please contact us to discuss. To date we have attended local events and provided a coconut shy amongst other things and any support is greatly appreciated. Maybe you could support an awareness stall? Perhaps make us some craft activities? Some people even hold fundraising events for us.
Below are lots of ways you can help support us.
The easiest way to donate is through our PayPal page by clicking or tapping the button below.
Alternatively, cheques can be written to “Peggy’s” and posted to us at 145 Cherry Grove, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN16 2TH.
Donations are greatly appreciated and help us work towards our aims by offering much needed support.
We’re always keen to recruit volunteers to assist in the facilitation of Peggy’s Place. This can be a valuable learning experience for those seeking a career in dementia care, carers who wish to support others, or just wanting to give back to the community.
Students are also welcome with agreement from the educational institution.
We've joined Lincs Lotto, where you can support local causes like us and win prizes up to £25,000. 50% of all tickets sold from our Lincs Lotto page will go to us, with 10% going to other good causes across North Lincolnshire.
Tickets cost only £1 a week and by supporting us, you have the chance to win prizes too - everyone can be a winner!
